The Metropolitan Healthcare Security & Safety Directors
is a professional association of individuals that are
responsible for security and safety at nursing homes,
hospitals and medical centers throughout the greater
New York area. The association has been in existence
since 1979. The association conducts seminars and
newsletters in an effort to foster greater professionalism.
In addition, the membership is kept up to date on the
latest laws and technical advances that impact on the
healthcare industry as it relates to security and safety.
