Hello Members,
I hope everyone had a great 2009. For 2010 MHSSD is going to have a great year. We have elected some
new officers and extend the size of our Board to include some long term members who have supported our
organization for many years.
So please welcome Tim Burgunder as our new Treasurer and Sam Velez as our Secretary. In addition, Lynn
Brown and Charlie Gaito are now permanent members of our Board along with Ray Dean. Thank you all for
your long standing support over the years and your continued support going forward.
MHSSD Association started 2010 without having a meeting in order to work on our one day seminar
scheduled for March 19th at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Its great to bring back a long standing tradition. The
Board has worked hard and has provided us with some great speakers for the event. Take a look at our
brochure which is on the website and continue to stop by the website in order to see the updated list of
speakers.
Speaking of great speakers, don’t forget to attend the 42st Annual General Membership Meeting and Seminar
Program which will be hosted by the IAHSS in Myrtle Beach, SC, May 2 - May 5, 2010 at the Hilton Myrtle
Beach Resort at the Kingston Plantation. It’s going to be a great event.
